Go Seigen
Go Seigen is considered the strongest player of the 20th century. Although he
has stopped playing in tournaments for a long time now, he is still involved
with go.
Go Seigen's "A Way of Play for the 21st Century", a compilation of lectures
broadcast in Japan every Sunday from October 1996 through March 1997.
This book reviews a number of openings, like star point
openings, 3-4 point openings, the Chinese opening, Kobayashi-style openings,
two-space high approach move openings, and others played by comporary top
players. An fitting title for this book would have been 'modern joseki and
fuseki';
