There have been some books written about 'haengma', but most of them have no clear
definition. Moreover, some books deal with a wide range of contents, making readers feel
even more confused. It is difficult to define 'haengma', because 'haengma' can easily
change to close combat. We can not call it 'haengma' anymore when fights happen again
and again. For the same reason we don't call it 'opening' anymore if a fight occurs.
For that reason, I want to make it as simple as possible so that everyone can understand it easily.
while openings start on line 3 or 4, haengma tend to move from there into the center,
greatly influencing battles around the center.
we may have some chance to make up for a few mistakes in the opening, but mistakes
in haengma are often connected directlt to defeat.
I'v written many books so far, but this is the first time I've given my entire focus toward only one little subject. I plan to write some more series of books studying in other parts of baduk. I expect that by the time all these series are completed, we can say "YES, THIS IS BADUK".
