It is the late 18th century, the time of the industrial revolution in Scotland. By building the largest seaport, the village of Glasgow has quickly transformed into one of the most important trading cities in Europe.
In this 2 player game your task is to construct 20 new buildings to make Glasgow fit for the modern age. Each building is worth points and the player with the most points wins the game.
Players move through the city to collect resources, take special actions and most importantly build buildings. Before the game, tiles with city dwellers on them are placed on the table in a circle. These inhabitants offer resources such as brick, steel or money, which can be used to build buildings or let you perform a special action.
Both players build one city together. Once the sixteenth building is built, the game is over and players score points for what they have built. It's up to the players to decide which tactic they think will score the most points.
