Lord of the Rings chesspieces

Lord of the Rings in cream and brown. Made from the books (rather than Movie) version, this set of XL chess pieces is remarkable in every way. Large, weighted, detailed… and the set is different in many ways, one of which is that the rooks aren’t the same, the bishops aren’t the same, nor the knights. In a standard chess set there are 6 different characters (including 1 for the pawns). In this amazing set there are 18 different characters – really depicting each of the characters of the masterful Lord of the Rings masterpiece by Tolkien Enterprises. The King is 5″ – it’s a substantial set of chess pieces.

The pieces are well weighted with an improved ratio of crushed marble and resin, and then finished with a felt underlay
