In PANDA, players work together to build the Giant Panda National Park. The goal is to score the most points by playing prey animal cards into the park and strategically placing predator cards. Prey animal cards score points immediately, whereas predator cards only yield points at the end of the game.
The river flowing through the park serves as the starting point for its expansion. Prey animals come here to drink, but in doing so, they become easy targets for the many predators prowling the park. Prey animals are placed adjacent to the river or next to other animals, while predators lie in wait for the perfect moment. Players decide for themselves when their predator should strike—will you strike as soon as a single animal is present, or will you wait for a better opportunity to score more points? Of course, there is always the risk that another player might take your spot—and claim your points in the process. By playing strategically and striking at the right moment, you can secure the highest score and emerge as the winner of the game.
