On the steep slopes of the Yunnan mountains a special plant grows. It is rumoured that this plant has wondrous properties, that can heal the body and envigour the mind. Naturally, the farming of this wonderful herb has spread like wildfire to other provinces.
At the emperor's request, master gardeners gather in the valleys of the Yangtze river to start a population of this miracle plant. The most skilled gardener will receive a special reward: a view of the fertile land in the coveted Yunnan region.
Players will embody owners of the first tea gardens in the Yunnan region in China. They will try to expand their plantations by buyilding new gardens along the banks of the river.
The game lasts for five rounds. Every round, players can perform a maximum of four actions, which are activated by playing the cards from their hand that match those actions. Some cards allow players to perform extra actions. Possible actions include expanding plantations, buying new cards, harvesting tea, sailing with a boat and studying tea.
