In this Carcassonne expansion, you'll participate in the royal tournament. Nominate knights, travelers, and farmers for the biggest projects and receive the most prizes. If you win, a valuable statue bearing your emblem will be erected in your honor.
Carcassonne fans who enjoy even more intense competition with their fellow players will love the tournaments in this expansion. And who wouldn't want to erect a statue with an emblem to commemorate their victory?
Shuffle the tiles into separate piles so there are always an equal number of turns between tournaments. If you expand a project during the game, you can nominate the corresponding meeple for a tournament. Place one of your emblems face down so that only you know its value. If a tournament is then resolved because one of the draw piles is empty, players check the value of their nominated meeples. The winners receive a prize tile and can use it to place statues bearing their emblem, which are worth points at the end of the game!
