Japanese Trickbox with 10 steps.

5 Sun. Sun is a Japanese unit of measurement. 1 sun is approximately 3.0 cm. This puzzle box opens in 10 steps (the lid panel opens in step 7 and the drawer slides out in step 10). The design features traditional Yosegi-zaiku on the top and bottom panels. The side panels are made of natural wood (Nyatoh, Keyaki, and Walnut). This puzzle box is made by OKA CRAFT.

"The Japanese puzzle box (Himitsu-bako) is made exclusively from wood and eco-friendly materials. It is one of Japan’s traditional works of art. Its origins date back to the Edo and Meiji periods (1800s) in Japan. The craft has been passed down by a very small number of artisans. I make these puzzle boxes myself full-time. I underwent 10 years of training, and I have been crafting these Japanese puzzle boxes and Yosegi-zaiku for over 20 years. All items are made in my workshop.
